Certificates are done.
there are certificates for first and second in each group.
i phoned Don and left a message to see if he can help judge :)

i have THE most adorable little tiger mouse in Bear and Cherices litter (round two, i loved the first lot but these are so different to the first lot! WOW!) i really hope its a girl, but it likely keep it if its a boy too, which would place Tyger up for adoption.

MCWA mouse show and picnic [08 Jan 2007|01:13am]
x- posted

The Mouse Club of WA picnic show is scheduled for Saturday March the 24th 2007. Please try to get your entries in by a week prior to that date if you can. The last mailout can be seen here. Due to complications with insurance, the picnic show cannot be held in a public area, and will be held in private. please email monkau1@bigpond.com to get the address. People can begin to arrive at 1pm, with afternoon tea starting at around 1.30pm Judging will begin at 2.30pm SHARP.

Anyone who wants to put in their applications online can do it by emailing me (monkau1@bigpond.com). If you are not sure if your mouse is showable, you can still give it a try, if theres a lack of mice entered it may even mean you win or come a place by default! We're not being as strict as we should with this show, as its our first one :) There is also a pet class for friendly mice who dont fit into any category or are disqualified due to amputation, mismarkings or any other reason. Another possible class is funny looking or marked mice. (if you wish to enter a mouse in pet or funny mouse group, please make sure you specify so on the entry!)

New links [07 Jan 2007|12:16am]
I have just updated the website so that all pages linking to the adoptions pages and updates pages link to here. i am sick of using the program to udate my litters all the time, as it crashes constantly, and freezes my computer. i will post pictures and updates here now, like i keep saying i will :P

if anyone notices a broken link on my site after i have finished editing everything, please let me know! thanks!

Incoming mice [03 Sep 2006|12:45pm]
the new boys will be arriving soon - i have all the matings for them already planned out. Anyone interested in creams, silver sables etc let me know - im also going to be making some snow tiger babies in approx 2 generations.

the first generation will have full colour and dilute tigers, second will be snow tigers etc!

And we're getting a chinchilla boy as well. we will be breeding to create a strain - mating 3 females to him, keeping a male from one litter, and females from the others, mating him to the females from those litters, keeping one male, and females, and so on and so forth.

We hope to get some lovely mice from these boys, they come from good lines.

for now, pictures of the 2 silver sables and the cream. People on the we-love-mice community would have seen these already, but this update is linked to via my website, so NYER :P lol

chinchilla pics soon :)

(got a new tank too, a four foot one. at the moment its planned to be used to hold the smaller mice and mice for sale, and the current tank will hold the girls of breeding age :)

we will soon also have alot of rescue mice available, so all help is appreciated :)

Shipping mice [22 Aug 2006|11:31am]
Hooray for me!

im getting some mice shipped to me from the eastern states :)
im getting a cream boy and his two silver sable brothers from Jen at Dog Star (dad is a diluted chinchilla and mum is a PE cream), possibly a snow tiger and blue boy from hayley at Rocket Rodents (if not them, then i asked after a hairless boy or two, as well as blue himalayans, if not those then im waiting for her next litter), and im on the waiting list for Dogstars' chinchilla mice, and Katy at Zen Mousery is having chinchilla mice who ill be in line for (though ill have to ship another lot by then).

im so happy right now, i can finally get some nice extreme dilutions and chinchillas, and replenish my blue stock :)

*parties on down*

the father of the silver sables is beautful.

Most of the little ones are doing well, theyre thriving and the mothers are doing really well. Gizmo and Francine are also due soon.

oh i think that one or maybe both of the runts have mega colon, they have differing degrees of it though - one always has a massivley distented stomache, it always looks munted, like its got this tiny little body and big fat rear end. i thought it wasnt going to make it, but then it was somewhat thinner, and it (the fatness not the mouse LOL) just comes and goes. it needs to go to the vet, so ill call Elizabeth-Jo Vickridge and try get an appointment as soon as possible. the only thing is it will likely need to have special laxatives all its life, and a special diet. its still on mothers milk though, so how to force feed a baby mouse laxs is a mystery to me. it sucks being able to pretty much know whats going on inside your pet but not be able to prescibe anything coz you didnt finish your vet training. *head desk*. has anyone else had a mouse with this problem?

anyway, ill post pictures of all the other babies now.
i really love the two variegated marked boys, but theres nothing i can do to keep them because i REALLY dont need to keep any more males, though im planning on keeping a siamese male from the other litter.... *grin*

these babies will be so beautiful when they really get their long hair :)

baby mee-meesCollapse )

p.s tomorrow or the day after i will post and ask people to vote for the cuest pic submitted for the little comp. so youve not got long if you want to post a pic.... *hint* *hint*

[16 Aug 2006|10:42pm]

these (in the pics below cut) are my little longhair manxes. now... i thought they were champagne, but theyre not the right colour it seems... so... i was looking at them just now and decided to take a few happy snaps and ask what you guys think, since theyre darkening up, they might be siamese. dad is chocolate, and mum is albino or *something* i thought she was a fawn siamese... since shes got the red eyes and not pink. anyway. theyre cute whatever they are, and im keeping them forever and ever... i named them Mystery and Mysery :) theyre very similar, and i like strange names. i always same siblings very similar names, which is odd, and i should break that habit, hey...

also, ill put in pix of my pretty new BEW and black broken and variegated babies.

on another note, id like to have a living funeral of sorts, for Cheza and Coco. theyre really old, and looking ALOT worse for wear, even so, i love them for what they are, and ill add todays pics. theyre both very sickly, boney and just generally old looking, so id like to write a little about each of them under their pictures below the cut.

if they can make it til payday (2 more sleeps!), theyre going to go to a lovely vet to get put to sleep nicely. i dont like to see them so frail and old.

chop chop, theyre below the cut (photo intense, but theyre small so its ok) :)Collapse )
